Salt Edge names Stephen Winyard as Chief Sales Officer
Salt Edge, a global leader in offering open banking solutions, has reinforced its upper management with its latest hire, appointing Stephen Winyard as Chief Sales Officer, who brings to Salt Edge a wealth of experience and proven multi-million dollar growth in numerous technology companies throughout his career.
Having Stephen on board is a key component of Salt Edge’s long-term vision to provide a universal platform to facilitate dozens of use cases based on open banking and to create a whole new digital experience for customers. His mission with Salt Edge is to expand the client base globally and help drive the company over the next growth period.
Before joining Salt Edge, Stephen co-founded, managed, and invested in several disruptive and complex technology companies. During his long-standing career of over 25 years, he has also been involved in open banking and was previously one of the founding teams for a UK-regulated PIS and AIS company.

Amongst other companies Stephen has co-founded, managed or led their growth are: Destiny plc – a company that developed applications for digital and mobile technology solutions, was the CEO and founder of a social gaming studio and was also Sales Director of Thales Telematics plc, leading Europe’s satellite and GPS technology growth.
