Salt Edge hosts an Open Banking Seminar in Belgrade on November 7th, 2024.

Salt Edge, a global pioneer in Open Banking, announces its expansion into the Republic of Serbia, aiming to help banks comply with recent amendments regarding Open Banking.

Effective from May 6th, 2025, all Serbian banks will be required to comply with the provisions outlined in the Law on Payment Services (“Official Gazette of RS”, no. 139/2014, 44/2018, and 64/2024). This law mandates banks to provide Third-Party Service Providers (TPSPs) with secure access to customer account information through open APIs, facilitate payment initiation services, and ensure compliance with Open Banking standards to enhance competition, transparency, and consumer protection within the financial ecosystem.

In collaboration with the Association of Serbian Banks, Salt Edge will organise a seminar to share the global experience accumulated in the EU, UK, and other markets with Serbian banks, non-bank payment service providers, and fintechs.
The event will take place on November 7th, 2024, at Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 86/2, Belgrade.
